This premium, curated evening experience explores the Big House, grounds, and slave quarters by candlelight, revealing stories that are not part of the daily tour. Guests will learn more about the complex history of Laura Plantation through stories of sorrow, exploitation, resistance, and survival, offering a deeper look at the lives and experiences of those who lived and worked on the plantation, both free and enslaved.
The Candlelight Tour is offered on select Friday evenings in October and includes light refreshments.
